Peter
Myerson assists companies with their legal matters and business
issues. His experience as a lawyer covers many disciplines; he
is frequently used as outside general counsel for companies which
do not have inhouse legal staff. He advises clients on a wide
variety of corporate business and contract matters including transactions
involving technology, software, product licensing and transfers,
business acquisitions and mergers, security regulation, venture
capital, commercial financing and trade secrets.
He has extensive experience in organizational formation as well
as with shareholder and owner disputes. Many of his clients own
or license proprietary technology or software. He is skilled in
dealing with intellectual property matters including obtaining
protections through appropriate agreements with employees, inventors
and others and through overseeing the patent/trade secret process.
His legal practice includes representation of publicly traded
corporations in dealing with 1933 Securities Act and 1934 Exchange
Act matters.
He works with domestic and foreign clients with respect to issues
involved in setting up, developing and enhancing businesses. Building
international business relationships is replete with contractual,
pricing, incorporation, tax and other legal issues. Peter is actively
involved in attracting European and Canadian companies to New
England. In this connection he is a member of Galexy, an international
association of lawyers (

Peter has extensive experience with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. He
provides expertise on the issues of director independence. He
